The eLearning content creator is responsible for developing engaging and interactive eLearning activities. This role involves supporting the entire eLearning lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. The content creator will work closely with subject matter experts to transform their content into compelling online courses that enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention. Additionally, the content creator will ensure that all eLearning experiences align with TWoR kaupapa Māori values and educational goals.
Ideally the appointee should:
• Hold relevant academic qualifications and/or relevant experience or technological skills.
• Have experience as a content creator preferably within a teaching environment.
• Have the ability to create engaging and interactive multimedia content.
• Have attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Able to take direction well.
• Able to work well within the team environment.
• Able to manage own workload to meet deadlines.
• Be a clear communicator in English and Te Reo Māori.
• Able and willing to perform a wide range of tasks, some with competing demands, to achieve excellence.
• Have a high level of competence with learning technology platforms and authoring tools (or can learn fast) for example, Mūrau, Articulate, Adobe, Camtasia, the Microsoft suite of applications and the use of computers.
• Be knowledgeable of Whakatupuranga Rua Mano, the ART Confederation and the origins of Te Wānanga o Raukawa.
