Pūkenga – Te Whare Aronui 

Ōtaki Campus 

1.0 FTE Full time x two (2) positions 

Te Whare Aronui, at Te Wānanga o Raukawa based in Ōtaki are seeking two full time pūkenga to assist with teaching and learning activities within this very busy team.  Ūkaipōtanga will be your guiding kaupapa as you support students to reconnect back to their tūrangawaewae through Iwi and Hapū studies and be able to draw on your own marae, hapū and iwi experiences.   

As a successful applicant you will be a proficient teacher, confident communicator in te reo Māori and english and be committed to instilling ngā taonga tuku iho into the full range of students from rangatahi to kaumātua and tauiwi.  Whānaungatanga is a must in this role as you develop key relationships with other pūkenga, ākonga, internal support services, academic whare and Kura.  You will be highly organised, passionate, and well supported to assist with the delivery of this component both face to face but mainly in the online space.
